Last week we spotted the incredible model Chanel Iman twice wearing sunglasses from our Basquiat by Etnia Barcelona collection while enjoying her vacation in Barbados.
The model was wearing our Jean-Michel Basquiat by Etnia Barcelona 01 BL “Fallen Angel” sunglasses while sunbathing with her friends on the beach and attending the Calypso party held on a boat in Bridgetown.

Chanel Iman was born in Atlanta. Her mother, a big fan of fashion, decided to name her daughter after her favourite brand, Chanel, and supermodel Iman. The American model has an exotic look that few can match, a mixture of Korean and African American genes, so it was practically a sure thing that Chanel Iman would triumph as a model.
Known for having been the youngest Victoria’s Secret “angel”, the face of DKNY, Dsquared2 and H&M, her baby face and uncommon beauty made her the muse of Philip Lim and Kanye West, among others. Committed to fighting racism, she has participated with other models in debates on xenophobia and the difficulties facing African American models.
